Mass/matter shapes space. Tell me why "shaped space" cannot exist *independent* of matter..
Why, from the time zero, could the shape of space not include 'dents' or 'hollows'? These shapes not being caused by matter but simply 'there'.
Shaped space would behave as if filled with an equivalent amount of matter - gravitation-wise, even if "empty"i.e. even if containing zero conventional matter.
Recent observation of a pair of colliding galaxies actually appears to show dark matter separating from the galactic conventional matter thereby challenging the 'standard convention".
Dark matter shapes would - naturally - 'collect' matter and form galaxies.
The cause / effect may be largely the reverse of assumptions..
