I'm on my way to bring good cheer
Now that Christmas time is near
so sweep the chimney, light the tree
and make a landing place for me.
Little Pluto's on my right
just now the Earth is not in sight
but I will fire a burst or two
and then I'll be on time for you
Make sure the children are asleep
specially those who are prone to peep
for I'll be bringing gifts with me
to gently place beneath the tree.
And thank you for that piece of cake
you've kindly left for me to take
It's nice to know you think of me
Santa and a Christmas tree.
And when I'm done I will insist
That not a single child was missed
I'll stand and hum A Xmas song
Then on my rocket I'll be gone.
