The Starship Colondine
After humankind have settled on Mars, a century will go by for consolidation, and then the stage will be set to venture forth into the unknown. Advanced life support systems for prolonged spaceflight will be firmly established, the speed of light will be harnessed to give us a propulsion system to function at fractions of high warp speeds, and then we will be ready for the greatest adventure of all, our journey to the stars.

Astronomers, scientists and Cosmologists will have refined methods of detecting planets orbiting a Star in the habitable zone, searching for those that have oceans and an atmosphere comprising of nitrogen and oxygen . If there are traces of methane, then there is a possibility that life forms may already exist.

But there will be extreme dangers for those who leave our Solar System, for it will be a journey into the unknown, a voyage to sow the seeds of humankind among the Stars, to search and to colonize, and never to return.
