Is anyone out there?
It would be inconceivable to believe that we are alone in the Universe, for all events are governed by the law of averages theory, a prediction dialog that in itself is universal. For instance, we can predict the minimum number of newborns that will evolve from a population of 20 million in a country like Australia. The law of averages gives us a yearly minimum consensus of no less than 300,000. and as the population increases, so to does the equation. The amount of fatalities resulting from motor accidents per million vehicles has a minimum constant year after year, so too is the minimum number of divorces we can expect each year from a population of 20 million.
Alien forms
So the big question is - how many intelligent civilizations can the law of averages compute from galactic structures numbering 200 billion. Now you can see why astronomers believe that we are not alone, for the law of averages with it's minimum constant would come into play in this instance, as it does with everything else.
An Alien species
Of course everything is complex. Each planet that may be in the habitable zone of a star would be complex and not exactly Earth-like, but the building blocks of life are such that each life form evolves into it's own environmental surroundings as do the hundreds of millions of different life forms that roam the surface of the Planet we call home.
No-one can predict the number of civilizations that are out there. Some may not have reached our level of intelligence, and in contrast, some may be most advanced, have heads four inches taller than ours, crammed with knowledge through the ages, and are aware of our presence, for they may have the capacity to de-cipher the prisms of the light beams that have come through their giant telescopes, showing them our landscapes, our cultures and our level of technology. These are the civilizations that have evolved milllions of milleniums before us, mastered the art of global unison and advanced into the time of future man.
In centuries hence, so will we.
