CTA 1 is the remnat of a supernova explosion. They discovered it as an X-Ray pulsar. Later they went to take a picture of it in X-ray again. It had disapeared. Then Fermi took a picture of it in Gamma. It WAS there! I thing it gained energy from something and put it's rays into higher energy.

I read some in wikipedia, and have a picture in Astronomy magazine.
