This is a crop from a stack of 5X300s images, taken with a 135mm lens set at f4. As usual my processing has let me down (I shall probably work on it again tonight as I can see the monitor far better when it's dark). What didn't let me down was the excellent tracking by my AstroTrac and the Ha 'pulling power' of my modded 350D. The shots didn't really capture any of the 'green' OII. I put this down to the Orion LPR filter which I use which tends to impart a reddish tinge to the whole image (good for Ha nebula of course). BTW although the Moon was only a few hours off being full, I didn't think that it did much to damage the imaging session, being well south in declination at the moment.
